Members of the EPI mission team travel regularly to share their resources, but continue to reside in the U.S., allowing third-world pastors to lead their own churches in evangelism and discipleship.

About the Smulands

For years Philip Smuland passed through different periods of license and legalism leaving him in doubt of his salvation. Raised in Texas by two godly parents he professed Christ but lived like a fool. However, sometime in his thirties the Lord broke through a hardened heart with the Gospel of grace. Undoubtedly, this was part of God’s wonderful wisdom preparing Phil for the ministry.

About the Barbers

John Barber PhD is the pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He has served as an itinerant evangelist, church planter, and as the late Dr. Bill Bright’s personal writer. Dr. Barber is the author of numerous articles and books on Christianity and culture, including The Road from Eden: Studies in Christianity and Culture. Married to Bonnie, they have two grown children.

Randy and Julie Pizzino

Randy Pizzino was blessed of God with Christian parents who gave him faithful nurture in the truths of the word. His father was a pastor, and Randy’s close relationship with his dad was used of God to teach Randy many practical lessons on pastoral ministry.
